The long-wheelbase competition berlinetta later nicknamed “Tour de France”: Colombo 3.0 V12, typically 240 hp road/competition tune up to ≈260, four-speed, 2,600-mm wheelbase and ≈1,050-kg dry weight. Scaglietti coachwork and four consecutive Tour de France victories from 1956 made the unofficial TdF name permanent; Alfonso de Portago owned the celebrated blue 1956 example and won that year’s event.
